How We Trade Blocks
YaSeMarble trades Turkish marble, travertine, limestone, onyx and basalt blocks through a verified sourcing model.
We are not a quarry owner and we do not present every block as our own production. Our role is to help international block buyers access suitable Turkish sources, compare available material, check commercial terms and reduce purchasing risk before payment or shipment.
Block trading is different from slab or tile trading. A block must be checked for size, shape, net volume, colour range, vein direction, visible cracks, structure, quarry selection and suitability for the buyer’s cutting purpose. For that reason, we do not offer blocks from catalogue names alone.
How we trade:
1. Buyer Requirement
The buyer sends the required stone type, colour reference, target block size, quantity, destination country, preferred Incoterm and intended use.
For faster quotation, please send:
Stone name or reference photo
Required quantity
Minimum and maximum block dimensions
Preferred selection or colour range
Destination port or country
Required documents, if any
Target price level, if available
2. Source Confirmation
YaSeMarble checks suitable Turkish quarry or supplier options according to the buyer’s requirement. Availability is confirmed from current material, not from old photos or general stock claims.
Because natural stone blocks change daily by quarry output and reservation status, every block offer is subject to live confirmation.
3. Block Review
Before commercial approval, the buyer can receive available block photos, video, dimensions, estimated volume, selection notes and visible condition information.
When available, we help check:
Block dimensions
Approximate gross and net volume
Colour and vein direction
Visible cracks or structural concerns
Quarry/source information
Loading feasibility
Export packing or loading method
Source-specific technical documents, if required
4. Commercial Offer
Each offer is dated and prepared for the specific block or block lot being discussed.
The quotation may include:
Stone name
Block number or lot reference, if available
Quantity and estimated m³ or tonnage
Unit price basis
Total estimated value
Incoterm: EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF where applicable
Named loading place or Turkish port
Payment terms
Offer validity
Exclusions and buyer responsibilities
No block is considered reserved until the agreed payment or deposit is received and the source confirms reservation.
5. Inspection & Approval
For serious orders, inspection can be arranged before final shipment where commercially feasible. The buyer may request additional photos, video, third-party inspection or local representative inspection before final approval.
Natural stone is a geological material. Variation, veins, small natural openings, colour movement and structural differences must be evaluated before cutting.
6. Payment & Reservation
Payment terms are agreed per order. For block trading, advance payment or deposit may be required to reserve the material. Balance payment is normally completed before loading or according to the confirmed commercial agreement.
Bank charges, inspection costs, local handling costs, freight changes, customs duties, import taxes and destination charges are not included unless clearly stated in the written offer.
7. Loading & Shipment
After payment confirmation and final approval, YaSeMarble coordinates with the source, logistics partner and buyer for loading preparation.
Depending on the order, blocks may be shipped by truck, container or break-bulk method. Loading method, weight limits, port suitability and freight availability must be confirmed before shipment.
8. Documentation
Export documents are prepared according to the confirmed trade term and destination requirements.
Documents may include, where applicable:
Commercial invoice
Packing list
Certificate of origin
ATR or EUR.1 when applicable
Bill of lading or transport document
Technical documents, if available from the source
Other documents requested before order confirmation
Important Trading Note
All block offers are subject to current availability, final source confirmation, payment status, logistics feasibility and written quotation terms. Photos and videos help reduce risk, but final approval remains the buyer’s commercial decision.
YaSeMarble’s value is not claiming ownership of every quarry. Our value is helping buyers source Turkish blocks with clearer information, safer communication and verified commercial steps before shipment.
